Interns, consultants and young professionals provide an enormous contribution to the United Nations and its institutions. This comes not only in the form of human capital, but also as a source of inspiration and energy needed to keep the United Nations in touch with the world at large. Thus – by supporting young professionals and students – the United Nations Independent Internship Network (UNIIN) endeavours to facilitate cooperation and communication between and amongst the United Nations and its organizations.

On a yearly basis, hundreds of interns and young professionals from all over the world are working at the United Nations and its organisations across the globe. With this in mind, UNIIN is committed to provide resources to help interns and young professionals engage with the issues that matter to them as well as assist in developing their careers within the UN system. As a nonprofit organization, UNIIN is dedicated to building understanding of and support for the ideals and the vital work conducted through the United Nations.
